Chris Brooks – Board President
Chris worked in the field of environmental protection and management for three decades, and, upon retirement, began working with Rural Missions, who placed him in firsthand contact with impoverished rural families in Charleston. Chris pours his heart into the needs of elderly, alone, and disabled people in his community, and he believes serving with STM will inspire young adults to seek God and find restoration for their soul and spirit.
Lauren Kincaid – Founder, Executive Director, and Board Treasurer
Lauren is a lover of Jesus, her family, the beach, her dogs, Sullivan and Skye, and all things organic! She has a career background in social work, education, and business.
Lauren’s two sons attended College of Charleston, and during frequent trips to the city, she began to see the struggles that many young people experience in the formative years between 18-30. Sea Turtle Ministries was birthed out of her desire to see young people find their passion and purpose in Christ and to thrive in life!
Ever since, Sea Turtle Ministries has been connecting with young adults, coming alongside them during their important transition into adulthood, helping them shape their visions and grow in faith and in life.
